The best trading apps of 2026 at a glance
Almost every broker now has a mobile app, so 'has an app' is not a differentiator. What separates them is the type of app: a broker's own native application, or the mobile build of MetaTrader 4 / MetaTrader 5. They behave very differently, and which one you get is decided by the broker you choose.
Native apps generally look better, onboard faster and surface research and news more cleanly. MetaTrader mobile looks dated by comparison but gives you the same order types, indicators and account you use on desktop — and it is the standard most signal services, including ours, assume you are running.

Best native trading app: Capital.com
Capital.com has the most polished native mobile app of the brokers we rank, paired with more than 3,000 instruments — forex, thousands of shares, indices, commodities, crypto and thematic baskets — and a $20 minimum deposit by card or e-wallet. It is regulated by the FCA, CySEC and ASIC, putting it alongside Pepperstone as one of the two most heavily regulated brokers on our list.
One caveat matters for signal traders specifically: Capital.com supports MT4 and TradingView, but not MT5. If you intend to run MetaTrader 5 on your phone, this is not your broker. Everything else about the mobile experience is excellent — see the Capital.com review.
Best MetaTrader mobile experience: Pepperstone
If you want MetaTrader on mobile and room to change your mind, Pepperstone carries the widest range: MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView, all available on phone. Spreads start at 0.0 pips on the Razor account with a per-lot commission, and it is regulated by seven authorities including ASIC, FCA and CySEC.
That breadth is genuinely useful on mobile, because platform preference tends to change once you have actually traded on a small screen for a few weeks. Being able to move from MT4 to cTrader or TradingView without changing broker — and without re-verifying an account — removes real friction. The Pepperstone review covers the account types.
