The problem: every provider claims to be reliable
Search for a signal provider and every single one claims a high win rate, a proven strategy and happy subscribers. That claim is worthless on its own, because nothing stops a provider from writing it. What separates a reliable provider from a marketing page is whether the claim can be checked — by you, independently, against evidence the provider cannot quietly edit after the fact.
This guide gives you a checklist to run on any signal service, including Best Trading Signal. It is written to be used, not read once and forgotten: bookmark it and run the same six checks the next time a new provider messages you on Telegram or WhatsApp promising a 90% win rate.
The verification checklist
Run these six checks in order. A provider that fails two or more is not one to trust with real capital, no matter how confident the sales copy sounds.
- Published track record, updated on a fixed schedule — weekly or monthly, not a one-off screenshot from a good month.
- Losing periods included — if every week shown is a win, the losing weeks are being hidden, not avoided.
- Accuracy stated by points, not by trade count — a provider can win 9 of 10 trades and still lose money overall if the one loss is large; points (or pips) capture that, a bare win percentage does not.
- Entries, take-profit and stop-loss visible before the result is known — not edited in afterward. Screenshots with visible timestamps or a public channel history are the minimum bar.
- Clear risk language, not guarantees — a provider promising guaranteed profit is telling you something false; a provider explaining that leveraged trading can lose money is telling you the truth.
- Advice on position size for small accounts, not just entries — a provider that only ever hands you an entry price, with no mention of how much to risk, is optimizing for signal volume, not your account survival.
Red flags vs green flags
Most of the work of picking a reliable provider is pattern recognition. Use this table on the next service you are evaluating.
What to look for — and what to walk away from
| Signal | Red flag | Green flag |
|---|---|---|
| Track record | Cherry-picked screenshots, no fixed schedule | Published on a fixed cadence, all periods included |
| Accuracy metric | Bare win-rate percentage, no unit stated | Stated by points, with the trade count separate |
| Losing weeks | Never shown, or dismissed as market noise | Shown in the same record as the wins |
| Language | Guaranteed profit, risk-free, cannot lose | No service can guarantee a profit |
| Position sizing | Never mentioned, or pushes larger size after a loss | Explicit guidance to size down on small accounts |
| Urgency tactics | Countdown timers, only 3 spots left today | Free trial or transparent pricing, no artificial scarcity |
| Regulation talk | Vague we work with top brokers claim, no names | Named, checkable brokers with license numbers you can verify |
