What Are the Best cTrader Brokers? (2026)

Only one of our 5 regulated brokers runs cTrader. We compare cTrader vs MT4 vs MT5 on execution, depth of market, and which platform suits which trader.

Ukratko

Of the five brokers we rank, only Pepperstone offers cTrader, alongside MT4, MT5 and TradingView. Base Markets runs MT5 only — no cTrader, no MT4. Capital.com runs MT4 and TradingView, with no MT5 and no cTrader at all. cTrader's core difference from MetaTrader is not cosmetic: every cTrader account ships with full Level II depth of market by default, showing the real order book rather than a single best-bid/best-ask price, and its algo layer (cBots, built in C# via cAlgo) is a different coding environment from MT4's or MT5's MQL. It suits active, discretionary traders who watch order-book depth and algo developers comfortable in C# — not a strict upgrade over MT4 or MT5, a different tool built for a somewhat different workflow and trader profile.

  • Only Pepperstone offers cTrader among our five reviewed brokers — alongside MT4, MT5 and TradingView on the same account
  • Base Markets is MT5-only — no cTrader, no MT4, no TradingView
  • Capital.com runs MT4 and TradingView, with no MT5 and no cTrader
  • cTrader's real difference is Level II depth of market by default — you see the actual order book, not just the top price
  • cTrader's algo layer runs on cBots in C# (cAlgo) — a different coding environment from MT4's or MT5's MQL, not a port
  • Trading is risky regardless of platform — no interface removes market risk; never trade money you cannot afford to lose

Which brokers offer cTrader in 2026?

cTrader is far less common among retail brokers than MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5, and that scarcity shows up directly in our five-broker set: exactly one of them runs it. The other four split between MT4, MT5, both, or neither, which makes the platform question a real filter before you even get to spreads or regulation.

That scarcity is not an accident of this particular list — cTrader is genuinely less widespread across the retail brokerage industry as a whole than the MetaTrader family, largely because MetaQuotes built MT4 and MT5 with broker licensing and white-labelling in mind from the start, while Spotware's cTrader has grown a smaller, more selective network of partner brokers. A trader searching specifically for cTrader will always be filtering a shorter list than a trader searching for MT4 or MT5, regardless of which five brokers are being compared.

cTrader vs MT4 vs MT5 — what actually differs

These are three separate platforms built by three different companies, and none of them share indicators, expert advisors, or account logins with each other. Choosing between them is a genuine workflow decision, not a version upgrade, and the right answer depends far more on how you actually trade than on which platform happens to be newest.

MT4 remains the oldest and most widely supported, with the deepest third-party library of indicators and expert advisors anywhere in retail trading — its main strength is that depth, built up over two decades. MT5 extends MT4 with more timeframes, more order types, a built-in economic calendar and a faster strategy tester, and it is the newer default for brokers introducing multi-asset support. cTrader, built by Spotware rather than MetaQuotes, takes a different approach entirely: instead of a single best-bid/best-ask quote, it shows the full order book by default, and it markets itself specifically at traders who want to see that depth rather than trust a single price feed.

Order execution and depth of market: the real cTrader difference

Depth of market (DOM) is the visible list of buy and sell orders sitting at different price levels around the current market price — not just the single best price on each side, but the volume queued behind it. On cTrader, this Level II view is a standard, built-in feature on every account, giving a genuinely transparent look at where liquidity is sitting.

MT4 has no native DOM tool at all. MT5 added a DOM widget, but in practice it is meaningful mainly on ECN-style accounts with real order-book liquidity behind it, and it is not the default view most traders open the platform to. For a trader whose decision-making leans on watching order flow — where the queued volume actually is, not just where the last trade printed — cTrader's default DOM is the clearest advantage of the three platforms.

Order execution differs too, in a way that matters more to active traders than casual ones. MT4 processes orders per ticket, so hedging a position means opening a second, separate ticket in the opposite direction rather than netting against the first. MT5 supports either netting or hedging depending on how the broker configures the account. cTrader is built around a netted, exchange-style order book by default, which is closer to how institutional execution actually works and is one reason it has a following among traders who came from equities or futures before moving into forex.

  • Scalpers and very short-term traders: visible queued volume can inform entries and exits at a level a single bid/ask price never shows
  • Traders around scheduled news: watching the order book thin out ahead of a release gives a live read on liquidity that a static spread figure cannot
  • Algo developers testing execution assumptions: cBots built in cAlgo can react to order-book depth directly, not just to price
  • Longer-horizon swing or position traders: depth of market adds little here — the entry, take-profit and stop-loss structure most signal-based trading uses works identically with or without it

The only cTrader broker on our list: Pepperstone

Pepperstone is the sole broker among our five that supports cTrader, and it pairs it with MT4, MT5 and TradingView on the same account — the widest platform choice we review. Its cTrader account mirrors the pricing structure of its MT5 Razor account: raw spreads from 0.0 pips with a transparent commission of roughly $3.50 per lot per side, rather than a flat, marked-up all-in spread. Regulation covers seven authorities including ASIC, the FCA and CySEC, making Pepperstone one of the more heavily regulated brokers on this list.

That combination fits two groups specifically: traders who want cTrader's order-book view without giving up access to MT4 or MT5, and algo traders who want the option to build in cAlgo's C# environment rather than MQL. Pepperstone does not force a single-platform choice at signup either — the same underlying account can typically run whichever platform suits a given strategy, which matters if your workflow spans more than one of them. Full detail is in the Pepperstone review.

Base Markets is MT5-only — no cTrader at all

Base Markets runs exclusively on MetaTrader 5, with no MT4, no cTrader and no TradingView integration. If cTrader's depth-of-market view or C#-based algo layer is a requirement for you, Base Markets is not the broker — the platform question rules it out before anything else does. For a trader who is not seeking cTrader specifically and is comfortable on MT5, that same exclusivity is a simplification rather than a limitation, and it is the broker that unlocks our signals free (below).

This is worth stating plainly because Base Markets sits at rank 1 on this site, and it is easy to assume the top-ranked broker also covers the widest platform choice. It does not — Base Markets earns its rank on the free-signals offer and low entry cost, not on platform breadth, and Pepperstone is the clearly stronger pick if cTrader specifically is what you are searching for.

Capital.com: MT4 and TradingView, but no MT5 and no cTrader

Capital.com sits at the opposite end of the platform spread from Pepperstone: MetaTrader 4, TradingView integration, and its own native app — with no MetaTrader 5 and no cTrader at all. A trader specifically drawn to cTrader's order-book view will not find it here, and a trader who assumes any modern broker automatically runs MT5 should check first: Capital.com is a clear exception on this list.

What Capital.com trades that platform breadth for is its own polished, award-winning app and access to more than 3,000 markets beyond forex — shares, indices, commodities and thematic baskets among them. For a trader whose interest in cTrader is really an interest in seeing the order book and fast execution, that trade-off will not land; for a trader who wants MT4 compatibility plus a modern native app and broad market access, it is a coherent combination.

Which platform actually suits which trader?

Work through the platform question before comparing spreads or minimum deposits — it eliminates options faster than any other criterion on this list.

  • Rely on a specific expert advisor or custom indicator: check which platform it was built for first — MT4, MT5 and cTrader do not share code
  • Want visible order-book depth on every trade by default: cTrader is the only one of the three built around Level II DOM as standard, and Pepperstone is the only broker here offering it
  • Already comfortable on MT5 and want the simplest single-platform setup: Base Markets runs MT5 exclusively
  • Need MT4 specifically, with TradingView but no MT5 or cTrader on the account: Capital.com fits that exact combination
  • Want both MT4 and MT5 but do not need cTrader: ActivTrades and XM both cover that middle ground
  • Want every option open on one account: Pepperstone is the only broker on our list offering MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView together

Which trading signals service should you use with cTrader?

We are an affiliate and we rank our own service first, and we disclose that plainly. Best Trading Signal publishes a weekly track record — 94% average weekly accuracy by points, +156,566 net points over 29 published weeks (Aug 2025–Jul 2026), accuracy by points, not by trade count — free through Base Markets with a $400 deposit that stays your own capital, or paid through our Telegram bot. Tawsiyat (tawsiyat.com) runs the same feed in Arabic. Pepperstone also has its own MT4/MT5 built-in Signals marketplace — a third-party feature separate from ours, and worth knowing about specifically because it is the same broker that offers cTrader.

Every signal we publish states an exact entry, take-profit and stop-loss, and all three platforms — MT4, MT5 and cTrader — place them natively. There is nothing platform-specific about how the signal itself is generated or delivered; it arrives on Telegram the same way regardless of whether you execute it on cTrader's order book or a standard MT5 chart. No signal service, including ours, can guarantee a profit, and CFDs and leveraged trading can lose money on any platform. Message us on WhatsApp if you have questions about which platform actually fits your strategy.

How to choose your platform

Start with whether cTrader specifically matters to you — if it does, Pepperstone is the only broker on this list that qualifies, full stop. If it does not, the decision reduces to the same MT4-versus-MT5 trade-off covered in our MT5 brokers guide: indicator and EA library depth favours MT4, while the newer feature set favours MT5.

Regulation and cost still matter alongside the platform decision — a broker offering exactly the platform you want is not automatically the right broker if its licensing or pricing does not fit your situation. Weigh cTrader access against the regulatory tier of the entity offering it, the spread-versus-commission structure on that specific account, and your own minimum deposit comfort level, rather than choosing on platform alone. A platform you enjoy using on a broker whose regulation or pricing does not suit you is still the wrong choice overall.

Whichever platform you land on, none of them removes market risk. Start on a demo account, size positions so a single loss cannot damage the account, and review the published weekly track record — losing weeks included — before committing real capital. Our ranking criteria explain how we weigh platform choice against regulation and cost across all five brokers.

Često postavljana pitanja

Of the five brokers we rank, only Pepperstone offers cTrader, alongside MT4, MT5 and TradingView on the same account. Base Markets is MT5-only, ActivTrades and XM both run MT4 and MT5 without cTrader, and Capital.com runs MT4 and TradingView without MT5 or cTrader.

Not universally. cTrader's default Level II depth of market and C#-based cBots suit traders who want to see the order book and code algorithms in C#. MT4 has the deepest third-party indicator and EA library. MT5 has the broadest feature set among the MetaTrader family. Each suits a different workflow, not a strict hierarchy.

Yes. Every cTrader account ships with Level II depth of market as a standard feature, showing the queued buy and sell volume at different price levels, not just the single best price. MT4 has no native DOM tool, and MT5's DOM widget is mainly meaningful on ECN-style accounts.

Yes, but they are called cBots and are built in C# through Spotware's cAlgo environment — a completely different coding language and ecosystem from MT4's or MT5's MQL. An existing MT4 or MT5 expert advisor does not port to cTrader automatically.

No. Base Markets runs exclusively on MetaTrader 5, with no MT4, no cTrader and no TradingView integration. If cTrader is a requirement, Pepperstone is the only broker on our list that offers it.

No. Capital.com supports MetaTrader 4 and TradingView integration, alongside its own native app, but it does not offer MetaTrader 5 or cTrader at all.

Pepperstone's cTrader account follows the same structure as its MT5 Razor account: spreads from 0.0 pips plus a transparent commission of roughly $3.50 per lot per side, rather than a flat marked-up spread with no separate charge.

Yes. Every signal we publish carries a defined entry, take-profit and stop-loss, and cTrader places all three natively, the same as MT4 or MT5. The calls are identical regardless of platform — only the interface changes.
