The app is the product

Most broker reviews treat the mobile app as an afterthought. For Capital.com it is the main reason to choose the account. The platform was built app-first rather than as a mobile wrapper around a desktop terminal, and it shows in the things that actually slow traders down: instrument search across thousands of markets, position management, and getting from an idea to a filled order in a few taps.

This deserves its own section because the opposite is repeated across a large number of broker-comparison sites and it is simply false. Capital.com supports MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, TradingView and API access, in addition to its own web and mobile platform.

The claim that it lacks MT5 appears to have spread as a narrative device — a neat contrast against MetaTrader-first brokers — and then propagated. What it costs, and when spread-only is the wrong model

Capital.com charges no commission on trades. Your cost is the spread, from 0.6 pips, and nothing else on the trade itself. For most traders this is the easiest cost model to reason about: one number, no per-lot arithmetic, no surprise at the end of a busy month.

It stops being the cheapest model at volume.
